This spring we had some fun with the daffodil sessions (though it was SO very cold that day.... we had a big heavy warm blanket just off camera to keep the kids from freezing between shots) but they were troopers! Last year it was perfect weather, so you just never know.

So often we moms forget to include ourselves in the pictures with our children, either because we're the ones taking the pictures, or because we think it's only the kids we're trying to capture. But when your children are older, they'll want to see mom in there too, and not just mom, but them WITH their mom. Those will be the images that mean the most to them.

One week ago to the day...

is when this little man came into the world to meet his Mommy and Daddy and big brother Z. I love photographing children of all ages, but there's just something extra special about newborns. Meet little 'A'...

I've been waiting to do this session for a long time... we did her maternity session last fall. He's about 4 months old and such a happy baby to boot. I just love this stage... with all of the little rolls and pudge. You just wanna squeeze 'em!

Little Diva
